Ham stealer

On our very first morning in Cannes we got to eat breakfast on our hotel's rooftop. They had cute tables and chairs inside with floor-to-ceiling windows and tables and chairs outside looking out onto building rooftops and the ocean. The hotel breakfast was full of fresh croissants, fruit, ham and cheese, and lots of yogurt. Also on this morning, a pigeon stole my piece of ham off my plate while I wasn't looking. Cannes pigeons are ruthless (and hungry).

After the pigeon/ham incident, our first full day in Cannes was spent at the Cannes Lion Festival. I heard Evan Sharp (the co-founder of Pinterest) give a talk, Whitney Wolfe Herd (founder of Bumble) speak, and got free juice from one of the booths along the way. You can't go wrong with the founders of some of your favorite apps and free drinks.
